Job Title: HVAC Boiler Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior HVAC Boiler Technician to join our service and maintenance team. This role is ideal for candidates with some foundational training in HVAC systems and boiler maintenance. You will work under the guidance of senior technicians to assist with the installation, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of boiler systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Setup:
- Assist in installing HVAC boiler systems by connecting piping, electrical components, and control systems according to manufacturer specifications.
- Support senior technicians during the calibration and commissioning of boiler units to ensure proper startup and functionality.
Maintenance & Repair:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, inspection, and lubrication of boiler components to maintain optimal performance.
- Help diagnose and troubleshoot common boiler issues under supervision, learning to repair or replace faulty components.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and assist in carrying out scheduled service tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to established safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations at all times.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in ongoing safety training sessions and contribute to a culture of safety within the team.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
- Help prepare and update maintenance logs and basic reports to track system performance and service history.
- Document any operational issues and promptly report them to supervisors for further action.
Learning & Development:
- Engage in on-the-job training to build technical expertise in HVAC boiler systems.
- Collaborate with experienced technicians to learn advanced troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Stay informed on new technologies and best practices in boiler maintenance and energy efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or coursework in HVAC technology, boiler maintenance, or related fields is preferred.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is advantageous.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of hands-on training, internships, or vocational experience in HVAC systems or boiler maintenance is preferred.
- Entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn and grow within the HVAC industry are encouraged to apply.

- Strong mechanical aptitude with familiarity using hand and power tools.
