Overview of the Role

The HSE / ISO Recruiter at Talent Pool will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent in the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) sectors, as well as ISO-related positions. This supervisory role requires a deep understanding of HSE regulations and ISO standards, coupled with exceptional recruitment skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing recruitment strategies that align with the company’s goals, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence within the organization. The recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and will utilize various sourcing methods to build a robust talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for HSE and ISO positions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and create detailed job descriptions.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in HSE and ISO recruitment.
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques, including social media, job boards, and networking, to identify potential candidates.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations during the recruitment process.
  • Participate in safety training programs and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of hiring strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to management on recruitment progress and challenges.

  • Holds advanced or specialized HSE certifications, showcasing expertise in the field.

Expertise

  • Relevant degrees or certifications in Human Resources, HSE, or related fields, demonstrating educational background.
  • Completion of advanced courses, certifications, or continued education in recruitment or HSE practices.
  • Industry-relevant experience, with a strong understanding of the HSE and ISO sectors.
  • Specific technical skills or proficiencies related to HSE standards and ISO compliance.
  • Hands-on technical skills or familiarity with software tools relevant to recruitment and HSE management.
  • Recognition for achievements, awards, or contributions in the field of HSE or recruitment.
