As a Game Designer, you will take ownership of specific game features or systems. You are expected to design, balance, and iterate on mechanics that enhance player experience. You’ll work cross-functionally with art, programming, and QA teams to deliver polished gameplay content.
Design and implement core gameplay systems and mechanics.
Own specific features or game areas from concept through implementation and polish.
Collaborate closely with artists, developers, and QA teams to ensure quality and cohesion.
Analyze player behavior, playtest feedback, and telemetry data to refine designs.
Maintain clear, thorough, and up-to-date design documentation.
2–4 years of professional experience in game design.
Strong understanding of player psychology, gameplay flow, and balancing.
Experience using level editors, scripting tools, and prototyping systems.
A portfolio showcasing shipped or personal projects demonstrating your design skills.
Proficiency with one or more major game engines such as:
Unity (including familiarity with C# scripting and Unity Editor tools)
Unreal Engine (with Blueprints visual scripting and level design tools)
Experience with level editors and scripting tools to prototype and implement gameplay features.
Comfortable with design documentation and collaboration tools like Miro, Confluence, or Google Docs.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or Perforce is a plus.
Knowledge of project management tools like JIRA or Trello to track tasks and feedback.
