Field-based handyman providing multi-trade maintenance services including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, AC basics, and general repairs for residential and light-commercial clients. Work to defined quality, safety, and turnaround SLAs; coordinate with dispatch for materials/access; close jobs with full documentation and client sign-off.
Plumbing repairs: Fix leaks, replace faucets, showerheads, replace water heaters, repair or replace traps and hoses, clear clogged drains (manual or with auger).
Electrical repairs: Install or repair light fixtures, outlets, switches, fans, smoke detectors, and basic troubleshooting of home electrical circuits (no live DB work).
Carpentry repairs: Install/repair doors, windows, cabinets, shelves, baseboards, skirting, and minor woodwork.
General repairs: Patch and paint walls, fix broken locks/handles, repair or replace flooring, install blinds/curtains, hang pictures/mirrors, and assemble furniture.
Basic AC servicing: Clean filters, clear drain lines, replace capacitors or contactors (with qualifications).
Preventive maintenance: Periodically inspect plumbing, electrical, and other systems to identify potential issues and advise clients accordingly.
Materials & Variations: Identify parts and materials needed for each job, prepare BoQ, obtain pre-approval for additional costs or materials.
Documentation: Record before/after photos, work completed, materials used, and client sign-off in CRM.
HSE & Compliance: Use PPE, adhere to safe work practices, clean work areas, and protect client property.
3–5 years hands-on experience in multi-trade maintenance (UAE/GCC preferred).
Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and small home repairs.
Competent with hand/power tools, drills, screwdrivers, saws, wrenches, and basic electrical testing equipment (voltage tester, multimeter).
Ability to read simple diagrams, blueprints, and follow SOPs for tasks.
Basic English for notes and client updates (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus).
Smartphone for CRM, navigation, and photo documentation.
Valid UAE driving licence preferred; willing to travel between emirates.
High school (preferred).
Trade certificates or relevant training in plumbing, electrical, or carpentry a plus.
First Aid and HSE awareness are beneficial.
