Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Job Summary:

As a Mid-Level Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various technical equipment and systems at customer locations. You will work independently and collaborate with senior engineers to ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Your role will involve performing advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing effective solutions to maintain optimal performance and safety standards. Additionally, you will provide technical support to customers, manage service projects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of field service processes. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation:

    • Oversee the installation of equipment and systems at customer sites.

    • Ensure proper setup and calibration of equipment according to manufacturer specifications.

    • Coordinate with contractors and other team members to complete installations efficiently.

  2. Maintenance:

    • Perform advanced maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

    • Develop and follow maintenance schedules to prevent equipment breakdowns.

    • Identify and replace worn or damaged components.

  3. Troubleshooting:

    • Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to equipment performance and safety.

    • Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify problems and implement effective solutions.

    • Work closely with senior engineers to address technical challenges.

  4. Repairs:

    • Conduct repairs on equipment and systems as needed.

    • Ensure that all repairs are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

    • Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.

  5. Documentation:

    • Maintain detailed records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

    • Prepare reports on equipment performance and any issues encountered.

    • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible for future reference.

  6. Compliance:

    • Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.

    • Stay informed about changes in regulations and standards that may impact equipment maintenance and repair.

    • Participate in safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines.

  7. Customer Support:

    • Provide technical support to customers and clients as needed.

    • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.

    • Offer guidance and advice on best practices for equipment operation and maintenance.

Skill Development: Gain technical knowledge and experience in oil and gas field operations.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair or related fields.

Tools and Technologies:

  • Advanced diagnostic tools and equipment for mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Basic hand and power tools.

  • Maintenance and repair software.

Other Requirements:
