The Mid-Level Facilities Inspector is responsible for conducting detailed inspections of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure they meet safety, functionality, and compliance standards. The role involves documenting findings, coordinating with maintenance teams, and supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive maintenance plans.
Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC systems, and structural elements.
Identify facility issues and generate detailed inspection reports with recommendations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and internal maintenance standards.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and cleaning teams to address identified issues.
Monitor vendor service performance and ensure that outsourced facility services meet expected standards.
Assist in tracking the execution of preventive maintenance schedules.
Maintain up-to-date records of inspections, work orders, and service logs.
Support the planning and execution of facility upgrades or renovations.
Follow up on rectification of inspection findings and escalate unresolved issues.
Provide input into safety audits and participate in emergency drills and facility risk assessments.
Diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in facilities inspection or building maintenance roles.
Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety).
Ability to read technical drawings, maintenance logs, and inspection templates.
Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
Knowledge of local safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance standards.
Certified Facility Management (CFM), IOSH, or OSHA certification is an advantage.
Experience in inspecting commercial, industrial, or residential facilities.
