The Executive Director of Plant Fabrication & Infrastructure provides visionary leadership and strategic management of all plant fabrication activities and infrastructure projects within water treatment facilities. This role ensures the planning, design, fabrication, and maintenance of mechanical systems and structures meet operational goals, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, supporting the reliable delivery of water treatment services.
Strategic Leadership & Operations Management
Direct and oversee all fabrication operations including mechanical assembly, welding, machining, and installation related to water treatment plant infrastructure.
Lead infrastructure planning, upgrades, and capital improvement projects to enhance plant reliability and capacity.
Develop and implement long-term strategies for fabrication capabilities, equipment modernization, and workforce development.
Project & Quality Oversight
Ensure fabrication projects align with technical specifications, timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs to maintain high fabrication and construction standards.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless project execution and plant support.
Team Leadership & Development
Build and mentor high-performing teams across fabrication, maintenance, and infrastructure disciplines.
Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations for fabrication services and materials.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all fabrication and infrastructure activities comply with industry codes (ASME, AWS), environmental regulations, and workplace safety standards.
Lead safety initiatives and promote best practices across all plant fabrication operations.

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field

Extensive experience in water treatment or heavy industrial fabrication environments
Proven leadership managing large teams and complex projects
Skills:
