The Executive Director β Capital Projects Supply & Engineering Integration will lead the strategic and operational alignment between engineering, procurement, and supply chain functions in the planning and execution of major capital projects. This high-impact role ensures that engineering requirements, procurement strategy, and supply chain operations are tightly integrated to enable efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects.
This role will drive excellence across engineering integration, supply chain strategy, materials management, and contract execution throughout the project lifecycle β from FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) to commissioning and handover.
Serve as the single point of accountability for the integration of supply chain and engineering deliverables for all major capital projects.
Ensure engineering specifications are aligned with procurement capabilities and market realities early in the project lifecycle.
Lead coordination between design teams, EPC contractors, and supply chain functions to minimize delays, scope changes, and procurement risk.
Review and approve engineering packages to validate procure-to-fabrication-to-installation alignment.
Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy for capital project execution, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and technical requirements.
Manage large-scale procurement for engineered equipment (e.g., valves, piping systems, rotating/static equipment, electrical systems) in collaboration with engineering and construction teams.
Oversee long-lead item forecasting and procurement to avoid bottlenecks and ensure schedule certainty.
Drive early supplier engagement and ensure supplier input during the design and engineering stages.
Oversee contract development, negotiation, and execution with engineering and construction vendors, including EPC and OEM partners.
Lead development of strategic sourcing plans and global supplier networks for critical project equipment and materials.
Ensure supply chain readiness for construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
Coordinate logistics, site delivery planning, material handling, and tracking of equipment to support construction milestones.
Establish interface protocols between engineering, procurement, and field construction teams to manage site queries and change orders efficiently.
Implement governance models to track and monitor procurement, engineering, and supply milestones.
Ensure all project supply chain activities comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
Identify and mitigate supply and engineering integration risks impacting cost, schedule, or technical performance.
Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engineering integration managers, capital procurement professionals, and supply chain project controllers.
Build internal capabilities in project procurement planning, supplier management, and technical bid evaluations.
Promote a collaborative, results-driven culture across engineering, supply chain, and project management functions.
