Job Title: Event Planner

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Event Planner to lead the planning and execution of high-profile events within the hospitality and tourism industry. In this role, you will manage complex events from start to finish, mentor junior team members, and play a key role in developing event strategies that enhance brand visibility and client satisfaction. This position is ideal for a professional with a proven track record in event execution, vendor negotiation, and client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Ownership:
    Lead the planning and execution of large-scale or high-value events with minimal supervision.
    Manage all aspects including concept development, logistics, budgeting, and post-event analysis.

  • Client & Stakeholder Management:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, sponsors, and internal stakeholders.
    Ensure clear communication, alignment of expectations, and high client satisfaction throughout the planning process.

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship:
    Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level event staff.
    Assist with onboarding, training, and quality control for ongoing projects.

  • Vendor & Partner Coordination:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and service providers.
    Negotiate contracts and ensure timely and professional service delivery.

  • Budget Management:
    Prepare and oversee event budgets, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses and cost efficiency.
    Handle financial reporting and reconciliation post-event.

  • Process Improvement:
    Identify opportunities to improve event planning processes, tools, and workflows.
    Contribute to strategic planning discussions and long-term event initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or related field

  • 5–8 years of experience in planning and managing events, with a strong portfolio of successful executions

  • Experience handling large budgets, high-profile clients, and vendor negotiations

  • Advanced knowledge of event management tools and CRM systems
