Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Planner (Fresh Level) to join our events team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, event coordination, and creating memorable experiences. You will support the planning and execution of events such as conferences, weddings, corporate gatherings, and tourism-related functions while learning the foundations of successful event management.
Event Support:
Assist in the coordination of event logistics including venue setup, supplier coordination, and guest services.
Support event planners and managers in day-to-day tasks before, during, and after events.
Vendor & Client Communication:
Help communicate with vendors, venues, and clients regarding event requirements and timelines.
Follow up on requests and ensure all documentation and details are properly tracked.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain event checklists, schedules, and databases.
Prepare materials such as guest lists, name tags, agendas, and event signage.
On-Site Assistance:
Support the team with event setup and breakdown, registration desk management, and guest assistance on the event day.
Troubleshoot minor issues and provide excellent customer service on-site.
Budget & Inventory Tracking:
Assist with budget monitoring and inventory tracking for supplies, materials, and vendor services.
Help gather invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation post-event.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Event Management, or a related field (or final-year student/internship candidate)
No prior experience required; internships or volunteer experience in events/hospitality is a plus
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
