Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Event Organizer to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about event planning and coordination within the hospitality and tourism sector. The successful candidate will assist in organizing and executing various events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet client expectations.
Event Planning & Coordination:
Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of events, including corporate meetings, trade shows, social gatherings, and promotional activations.
Support the development and implementation of event concepts, themes, and agendas in alignment with client requirements.
Vendor & Venue Management:
Research and liaise with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure services and negotiate contracts.
Coordinate logistics such as transportation, accommodations, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
On-Site Event Support:
Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring all aspects are in line with the planned arrangements.
Address and resolve any issues or changes that arise during events promptly and professionally.
Client & Stakeholder Communication:
Consult with clients to determine their needs and preferences for events.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure successful event delivery.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of event planning processes, contracts, and financial transactions.
Contribute to post-event evaluations to gather client feedback and identify areas for improvement.
Assisting in the seamless execution of events from inception to completion.
Balancing multiple event coordination tasks simultaneously.
Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure cohesive event delivery.
Meeting and exceeding client expectations through meticulous planning and execution.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements in event planning and execution.
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or a related role is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as required.
