We are seeking a competent and experienced Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Supervisor – Mid-Level to oversee field operations related to the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and instrumentation in a plant environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and safety of all E&I systems and leads a team of technicians to deliver maintenance excellence.
Supervise daily maintenance activities related to electrical and instrumentation systems in accordance with safety and operational standards.
Oversee the installation, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of field instruments (pressure, temperature, flow, level) and electrical components (motors, MCCs, relays, switchgear).
Ensure proper execution of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance schedules.
Review work permits, risk assessments, and ensure safe work practices by the E&I team.
Coordinate with operations, control room, and maintenance planning teams to minimize equipment downtime.
Assist in loop checking, functional testing, and commissioning support during shutdowns or new projects.
Maintain detailed records of calibration, maintenance work orders, inspections, and equipment history.
Support junior technicians and lead on-the-job training to build team capability.
Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IEC, NEC, ISA, and internal company procedures.
Support audits, safety inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintenance of LV/MV Electrical Systems and Instrument Loops
Field Instrument Calibration, Fault Diagnosis, and Replacement
Electrical Panel Checks, Terminations, and Motor Control
Permit to Work (PTW) System and Safety Supervision
Loop Testing, Control Panel Inspection, and Commissioning
Coordination with DCS/PLC teams for signal verification
Troubleshooting of Process Interlocks and Electrical Faults
Documentation, Reporting, and Compliance
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Electronics Engineering
4–7 years of hands-on experience in electrical and instrumentation supervision
Strong knowledge of field instruments, electrical drives, protection systems, and industrial control systems
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, single-line diagrams, and wiring schematics
Familiarity with safety and maintenance tools (e.g., megger, loop calibrator, multimeter)
Experience with CMMS software (e.g., SAP, Maximo) is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
