    • Optimize SCADA and PLC configurations to improve system efficiency, data acquisition, and control over critical electrical infrastructure.
  3. Power Distribution Network Design:

    • Oversee the design of electrical power distribution networks, ensuring that all components such as transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and wiring are selected based on system load requirements and safety standards.
    • Perform load calculations and analyze system voltage and capacity to ensure proper functioning of power distribution networks.
    • Conduct fault studies and protective device coordination to ensure electrical systems are fault-tolerant and meet operational reliability requirements.
  4. Testing, Troubleshooting, and Optimization:

    • Perform detailed testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure they meet performance specifications and safety standards.
    • Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve complex electrical system issues, both in the design and operational phases, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
    • Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety.
  5. Compliance with Electrical Safety Standards and Codes:

    • Ensure that all electrical designs and installations comply with relevant electrical safety standards and codes such as IEC and NEC.
    • Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary design adjustments to mitigate electrical hazards, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all stages.
    • Stay updated on changes to electrical safety codes and industry regulations, integrating new standards into electrical designs.
  6. Project Management and Coordination:

    • Manage electrical design projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and compliance with client specifications.
    • Coordinate with other engineering teams (e.g., mechanical, civil) to ensure that all electrical systems are integrated properly into the overall design of the facility or system.
    • Monitor project progress, address technical challenges, and collaborate with project managers to ensure that project milestones are met.
  7. Mentorship and Support:

    • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them improve their technical knowledge and skills in electrical system design and control.
    • Review the work of junior engineers, providing constructive feedback and ensuring the quality of their designs and calculations.
    • Support senior engineers with complex design challenges and help troubleshoot difficult system integration issues.
  8. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design drawings, schematics, and specifications for electrical systems.
    • Ensure all design calculations, system adjustments, and testing results are accurately documented and stored in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Present regular updates to senior management, clients, and stakeholders, highlighting project progress, design decisions, and system performance.
  9. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

    • Continuously evaluate electrical system performance and seek opportunities to improve design processes, system efficiency, and automation capabilities.
    • Research and implement new technologies and industry best practices in electrical design, control systems, and safety standards to enhance overall system performance and reduce costs.
