The E-Commerce Fulfillment Specialist – Mid-Level is responsible for managing and optimizing the fulfillment process to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective order processing. This role involves inventory control, logistics coordination, and process improvement to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce fulfillment operations, supply chain optimization, and the ability to streamline workflows in a fast-paced environment.
Oversee order processing, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and shipping of online orders.
Monitor order fulfillment rates and identify bottlenecks in processing workflows.
Work closely with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and courier partners to optimize shipping performance.
Ensure proper documentation for international shipments, customs compliance, and returns processing.
Track inventory levels, ensuring real-time stock visibility across multiple channels.
Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Assist in demand forecasting and replenishment planning to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to optimize inventory storage and movement.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance fulfillment accuracy and efficiency.
Support the integration of automation tools, barcoding systems, and warehouse management solutions.
Monitor and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, processing time, and shipping costs.
Develop and document fulfillment standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Investigate and resolve order fulfillment issues, including delays, damaged shipments, and returns.
Work closely with customer service teams to ensure seamless communication on order statuses.
Implement quality control measures to minimize fulfillment errors and customer complaints.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field (preferred).
3-5 years of experience in e-commerce fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain management.
Strong understanding of order management systems (OMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Experience working with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and inventory tracking software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize fulfillment operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
