The Director of Manufacturing & Fabrication (Water Infrastructure) oversees all aspects of manufacturing and fabrication operations supporting water treatment and distribution infrastructure. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective production of high-quality components—such as pipes, valves, structural supports, and pressure vessels—while aligning with safety, compliance, and performance goals.
Operational Leadership
Lead end-to-end manufacturing and fabrication operations for water infrastructure components.
Optimize workflow, material usage, production scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and output.
Ensure all operations comply with industry standards (ASME, AWWA, API) and internal quality benchmarks.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand fabrication capabilities, modernize equipment, and support capital infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, and field services teams to align manufacturing output with project demand.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other best practices.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage, mentor, and grow a skilled team of fabricators, welders, machinists, and manufacturing supervisors.
Implement training programs to enhance workforce capability and safety awareness.
Foster a performance-driven culture centered on accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
Quality & Compliance Oversight
Ensure rigorous quality assurance and quality control processes are applied across all fabrication and manufacturing activities.
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental standards, and compliance regulations.
Coordinate with QA/QC inspectors and engineering teams for ongoing audits, testing, and product certification.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Master’s degree or MBA preferred
Experience:
10–15+ years of leadership in manufacturing and fabrication, preferably in water infrastructure or heavy industrial sectors
Experience managing large teams and multimillion-dollar operations or capital projects
Skills:
Strong understanding of welding, machining, and mechanical fabrication for infrastructure applications
Proficiency in ERP systems, production planning software, and Lean manufacturing principles
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Deep knowledge of industry codes (e.g., ASME, AWWA, AWS, API) and safety/environmental regulations
