The Director – Industrial IT and OT Integration is responsible for leading the strategic convergence of Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) within the organization. This includes overseeing systems architecture, data integration, cybersecurity, and governance of digital infrastructure across manufacturing plants, enterprise systems, and edge automation. The role ensures seamless, secure, and scalable integration between industrial control systems and enterprise IT platforms, enabling real-time decision-making and digital transformation.
IT/OT Architecture Leadership – Define and lead integration strategies for networked control systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS) and enterprise systems (ERP, MES, cloud).
Cybersecurity Governance – Implement robust security frameworks to protect industrial assets in compliance with IEC 62443, NIST, and company policies.
Smart Manufacturing Enablement – Drive deployment of IIoT platforms, edge computing, digital twins, and unified data layers across facilities.
Data Integration & Interoperability – Ensure connectivity and data flow between plant-floor devices and business-level analytics systems.
Infrastructure Modernization – Oversee the upgrade and standardization of control networks, HMIs, gateways, and industrial servers.
Develop and execute a global roadmap for IT/OT integration aligned with digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 goals.
Lead cross-functional teams to implement integrated architectures involving automation, IT, cybersecurity, and operations.
Manage system interfaces between MES, ERP, SCADA, historians, and analytics platforms.
Ensure real-time data acquisition and visibility through smart sensors, OPC-UA, MQTT, or other IIoT protocols.
Work closely with cybersecurity teams to ensure secure remote access, firewall management, and segmentation of critical assets.
Oversee vendor selection, contract management, and project delivery for IT/OT technologies.
Define and track KPIs related to digital reliability, system availability, and operational efficiency.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Control Engineering, Information Systems, or Industrial Automation.
12–15+ years of experience in IT/OT systems integration, digital manufacturing, or industrial cybersecurity.
Deep knowledge of industrial control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS), manufacturing execution systems (MES), and enterprise IT platforms (ERP, cloud).
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST CSF).
Strategic leadership in digital transformation and automation architecture.
Technical depth in industrial networking, system security, and real-time data platforms.
Strong vendor management and cross-functional leadership skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across IT, OT, and business domains.
Change management experience within complex industrial environments.
