The Director – Flow Control Systems leads the engineering, product development, and operational strategies for flow control products including valves, actuators, regulators, and related control systems. This role is responsible for driving innovation, ensuring technical excellence, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, reliable, and compliant flow control solutions across diverse industries such as oil & gas, chemical, water, and industrial manufacturing.
Define and execute the strategic roadmap for flow control systems development and deployment.
Drive innovation in valve technologies, automation, digital controls, and integrated flow management solutions.
Monitor emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes impacting flow control systems.
Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in the design, prototyping, testing, and validation of flow control components and systems.
Ensure robust development processes and design-for-manufacturability principles are applied consistently.
Oversee product lifecycle management, including upgrades, cost reduction initiatives, and obsolescence planning.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, and manufacturing to align product development with market needs and operational capabilities.
Partner with quality and compliance teams to meet industry standards (API, ASME, ISO, IEC) and customer specifications.
Engage with key customers, vendors, and industry partners to foster collaboration and gather feedback.
Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering and product development team.
Cultivate a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline (required)

12+ years in flow control product development, engineering, or related fields
5+ years in leadership roles managing engineering teams and product portfolios
Experience across valve technologies, automation, and system integration in industrial sectors
Deep understanding of valve design, actuator technologies, flow dynamics, and control systems
Proficiency with CAD/CAE tools, product lifecycle management (PLM) software, and testing protocols
Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and project management skills
