  • Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation.

  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, specification-compliant equipment.

2. Technical Direction and Design Review

  • Review and approve detailed engineering drawings, weld maps, P&IDs, and fabrication plans.

  • Provide input on material selection (e.g., stainless steel grades, alloys) and surface finishes.

  • Ensure adherence to ASME, BPE, PED, and industry-specific standards.

3. Manufacturing and Workflow Optimization

  • Streamline fabrication workflows for efficiency, quality, and scalability.

  • Implement lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Coordinate across departments (engineering, QA, logistics) to eliminate bottlenecks.

4. Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, fabricators, QA inspectors, and project managers.

  • Drive a culture of accountability, precision, and excellence.

  • Develop succession plans, training programs, and performance metrics.

5. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a technical and commercial point of contact for key customers.

  • Support proposals, bid packages, and design reviews with clients.

  • Ensure proactive communication and resolution of project issues.

6. Compliance, Safety, and Quality Control

  • Enforce compliance with ASME, BPE, ISO, OSHA, and customer-specific standards.

  • Oversee QA/QC inspections, hydrostatic/pneumatic testing, weld documentation, and traceability.

  • Maintain a clean safety record and drive adherence to environmental and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 10+ years of experience in custom process equipment fabrication, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • In-depth knowledge of welding, stainless steel fabrication, ASME codes, sanitary equipment standards, and pressure vessel manufacturing.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in sanitary fabrication (e.g., BPE, hygienic piping, CIP/SIP systems).

  • Familiarity with ERP and fabrication tracking systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Procore).

  • Strong financial and project management acumen.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
