Job Title: Fresher - Data Warehouse Analyst

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Fresher - Data Warehouse Analyst to assist in the development, maintenance, and optimization of data warehouses. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of SQL, data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting tools. This role involves working with large datasets, supporting data integration, and ensuring data quality and consistency for business intelligence and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouses
  • Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources
  • Support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to clean and load data into the warehouse
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality in the data warehouse environment
  • Work with BI tools to generate reports and dashboards
  • Assist in data warehouse performance tuning and optimization
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users to understand data requirements
  • Document data warehouse structures, processes, and best practices
  • Stay updated on data warehousing trends, cloud data platforms, and analytics tools

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Understanding of data warehouse concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, fact & dimension tables)
  • Familiarity with ETL tools (Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica, SSIS)
  • Basic knowledge of cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure Synapse) (optional)
  • Experience with BI and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) (a plus)
  • Understanding of data normalization, indexing, and query optimization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
  • Certifications in SQL, Data Warehousing, or Cloud Databases are a plus

Experience:

  • 0-1 year of experience in data warehousing, ETL development, or data analytics
  • Academic projects, internships, or hands-on practice with SQL and data integration preferred
