We are seeking a motivated Customer Service & Inside Sales Executive with strong technical knowledge in Instrumentation & Control (I&C) products and services. The role focuses on handling customer inquiries, preparing quotations, managing sales orders, and ensuring exceptional after-sales support to build long-term client relationships.
Customer Service & Sales Support
Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally (email, phone, portal submissions).
Prepare accurate technical & commercial quotations for instrumentation products (valves, transmitters, sensors, flowmeters, gauges, controllers, etc.).
Provide order status updates, shipment details, and documentation support (MTC, calibration certificates, datasheets).
Ensure smooth coordination between customers, suppliers, and internal departments.
Inside Sales
Review customer requirements, specifications, and tender documents to prepare competitive offers.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell associated I&C products and solutions.
Negotiate prices, delivery, and terms with clients within approved guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of inquiries, quotations, and orders in CRM/ERP system.
Technical & Product Support
Understand and explain features, specifications, and applications of I&C products to customers.
Coordinate with engineering/service team for technical clarifications.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (API, IEC, ISO, ASME) when preparing offers.
Customer Relationship & Retention
Follow up on quotations to maximize conversion into sales.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
Provide after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Collect customer feedback to improve service quality.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in Inside Sales / Customer Service within Instrumentation & Control industry.
Experience with vendors/suppliers of valves, actuators, transmitters, flow & pressure instruments preferred.
Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of Instrumentation & Control products, specifications, and applications.
Familiarity with tendering process, RFQs, and EPC client requirements.
Knowledge of calibration certificates, MTCs, and project documentation.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and customer service orientation.
Ability to read technical datasheets and propose correct product solutions.
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP/CRM systems preferred.
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple inquiries simultaneously.
