Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Expert (Senior Level) to take a leading role in our kitchen operations. This position is ideal for professionals with strong culinary backgrounds who are ready to oversee food preparation, guide junior staff, and contribute to menu development. You will ensure high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation while maintaining smooth kitchen operations and mentoring less experienced team members.
Lead Food Preparation & Service:
Oversee the preparation and execution of meals across multiple service periods.
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet brand and guest expectations.
Kitchen Leadership:
Supervise junior cooks and culinary assistants, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
Provide coaching and feedback to support skill development and team efficiency.
Menu Contribution:
Collaborate with executive chefs and F&B leadership to develop new dishes and seasonal menu items.
Test recipes and provide input on plating and presentation.
Inventory & Cost Control:
Assist in monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing food waste.
Ensure efficient use of ingredients to stay within food cost guidelines.
Quality & Safety Standards:
Enforce kitchen hygiene, food safety protocols, and compliance with health regulations.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients.
Event & Special Service Support:
Lead food production for events, banquets, and high-volume services.
Adapt quickly to unique menus or service styles as needed.
Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field
5–7 years of professional kitchen experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, plating, and global cuisines
Experience working in hotels, resorts, fine dining restaurants, or similar settings
Leadership and mentoring abilities in a kitchen environment
Creativity and passion for food and presentation
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure in high-volume service
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
