Job Title: Culinary Expert

Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented and reliable Culinary Expert (Mid-Level) to join our culinary team and contribute to delivering high-quality dishes and memorable dining experiences. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing meals according to established standards, assisting with kitchen operations, and supporting junior team members. You should have solid hands-on experience in a professional kitchen and a strong understanding of food preparation, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation & Cooking:
    Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and portion guidelines.
    Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all meals.

  • Support Kitchen Operations:
    Assist in maintaining kitchen organization, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
    Set up and restock workstations and ensure all tools and ingredients are ready for service.

  • Assist in Menu Execution:
    Collaborate with senior chefs during service to prepare appetizers, mains, desserts, or buffet items.
    Contribute to the development and testing of new recipes or seasonal dishes.

  • Inventory & Stock Management:
    Help monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of stock needs.
    Assist in receiving, labeling, and storing ingredients properly.

  • Mentor Junior Staff:
    Guide and support junior cooks and kitchen assistants during service.
    Share knowledge of techniques and best practices with less experienced team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management

  • 3–5 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment

  • Solid understanding of various cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and food safety regulations

  • Experience working in hotels, restaurants, or hospitality venues preferred

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong culinary skills with attention to detail and presentation

  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent time management, especially in fast-paced service periods

  • Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and professional kitchen conduct
