Job Title: Culinary Expert

Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Culinary Expert (Fresh Level) to join our kitchen team and begin a hands-on journey in the world of professional cooking. This role is ideal for recent culinary graduates or individuals with a strong interest in hospitality and food preparation. You’ll work under the guidance of senior chefs, assisting with food prep, learning kitchen operations, and developing your culinary techniques in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation Assistance:
    Assist in the preparation of ingredients including chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating under supervision.
    Follow recipes and kitchen procedures accurately to support consistency and quality.

  • Kitchen Support:
    Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, utensils, and equipment according to hygiene and safety standards.
    Help with stock organization, receiving supplies, and storing ingredients correctly.

  • Learning & Skill Development:
    Observe and learn from senior culinary staff during daily operations.
    Participate in training sessions on food safety, cooking methods, and plating techniques.

  • Team Collaboration:
    Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
    Communicate clearly and follow instructions from chefs and supervisors.

  • Quality & Presentation:
    Pay attention to food appearance, taste, and portioning while supporting overall kitchen standards.
    Ensure all items are prepared on time and presented neatly.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (culinary school diploma or coursework is a plus)

  • No prior experience required; internship or volunteer experience in kitchens is a plus

  • Basic understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene practices

  • Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment
