Job Title: Cryogenic Turbine Engineer 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cryogenic Turbine Engineer – Fresher to join our engineering team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with a background in mechanical or energy engineering who are eager to develop expertise in the design, analysis, and optimization of turbine systems operating at cryogenic temperatures. You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and work closely with experienced engineers on projects related to cryogenic processes, such as LNG liquefaction or air separation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Analysis:

  • Assist in the design and development of turbine systems used in cryogenic applications using industry-standard CAD and simulation software.
  • Support detailed performance analysis and load calculations to optimize turbine efficiency at low temperatures.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to refine designs based on simulation results and test data.

System Integration and Testing:

  • Participate in the integration of turbine components with cryogenic systems, ensuring proper thermal insulation and material compatibility.
  • Assist in testing and commissioning of turbine systems under cryogenic conditions to validate performance and operational stability.
  • Document test results and contribute to the development of performance benchmarks.

Research and Development:

  • Contribute to research initiatives aimed at improving turbine performance and energy efficiency in cryogenic environments.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies, materials, and best practices in cryogenic turbine design.
  • Support the development of innovative solutions to address challenges associated with low-temperature operations.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Assist in preparing detailed technical reports, design documentation, and performance analysis summaries.
  • Maintain accurate records of design iterations, test results, and project progress.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to the engineering team and project stakeholders.

Collaboration and Learning:

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, materials, and thermal engineers.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training programs, workshops, and mentorship.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve design processes and project outcomes.

  • Cryogenic Design: Develop an understanding of turbine design principles specific to cryogenic applications, including thermal management and material selection.
  • Performance Optimization: Focus on improving energy efficiency and operational reliability under extreme low-temperature conditions.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving: Apply analytical and simulation tools to address challenges unique to cryogenic turbine systems.
  • Continuous Learning: Emphasize ongoing development of technical skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively with diverse engineering teams to integrate multidisciplinary expertise into innovative solutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Cryogenics, or a related field.
  • Relevant coursework or academic projects related to turbine systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, or cryogenic applications are advantageous.

Experience:

  • 0-1 years of prior professional experience is required; internships or academic projects related to turbine design or cryogenic systems are a plus.
  • Entry-level candidates with a strong academic record and a keen interest in cryogenic engineering are encouraged to apply.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks, MATLAB) is beneficial.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute innovative ideas to technical projects.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Basic safety and engineering certifications are a plus.
  • Additional certifications or training in cryogenic systems or turbine technology are advantageous but not required.
