The Junior Compressor/Turbine Lab Supervisor supports the daily operations of the testing and validation laboratory focused on compressors and turbines. This role assists in managing lab equipment, coordinating test schedules, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting data collection and analysis. It serves as an entry-level supervisory position to gain experience in lab management and turbomachinery testing.
Assist in supervising lab technicians and operators during compressor and turbine testing activities.
Coordinate test schedules, equipment setup, and resource allocation to support timely execution of experiments.
Ensure lab safety protocols and quality standards are followed at all times.
Help maintain and calibrate lab instrumentation and test rigs.
Collect, document, and support analysis of test data under guidance from senior engineers.
Support troubleshooting of test issues and equipment malfunctions.
Maintain clean and organized lab environment.
Report test results and operational issues to senior lab supervisors or engineers.

Associate degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Engineering Lab Technology, or related field preferred
0–2 years experience in a mechanical lab or testing environment; internships or co-ops are a plus

Familiarity with lab instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and calibration techniques
Ability to read technical drawings and follow test protocols
Strong organizational and communication skills
