Job Title: Compensation and Benefits Manager
Job
Summary:
The Compensation and Benefits Manager at the mid-level is responsible for
developing, administering, and continuously improving the company’s
compensation and benefits programs. This role requires a strategic thinker with
a strong analytical background who can manage compensation structures, analyze
market trends, and ensure that our programs are competitive, equitable, and
compliant with legal standards. You will work closely with senior HR leadership
to design initiatives that drive employee engagement and organizational
performance.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Develop
and manage competitive compensation structures and benefits programs that align
with the company’s strategic objectives.
- Oversee
annual salary review cycles, bonus programs, and incentive plans to ensure fair
and equitable employee rewards.
- Analyze
market data and industry benchmarks to assess and refine the competitiveness of
our compensation packages.
- Prepare
and present regular reports on compensation and benefits metrics, including
cost analysis, trends, and ROI for senior management.
- Update
and implement policies related to compensation and benefits, ensuring adherence
to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct
periodic audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement in
existing programs.
- Work
closely with HR and Finance teams to align compensation strategies with overall
business goals.
- Serve
as a consultant to managers and employees on compensation-related issues,
providing guidance and resolution.
- Identify
opportunities to streamline compensation and benefits processes through
technology and best practices.
- Implement
new tools and methodologies to enhance data accuracy and program efficiency.
- Develop
clear communication materials that explain compensation and benefits programs
to employees.
- Facilitate
training sessions and Q&A forums to ensure all stakeholders understand
program details and updates.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
is required.
- A
Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compensation
Professional (CCP), SHRM-CP/SCP) are preferred.
- 3-5
years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, preferably with
exposure to both program administration and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated
experience in data analysis, market benchmarking, and policy development within
an HR environment.

- Strong
analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in data management and HRIS
tools.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills to effectively present data and
influence decision-making.
- Detail-oriented
with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficient
in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR analytics
platforms.
- Solid
understanding of compensation philosophies, benefit structures, and relevant
legal/regulatory frameworks.
- Professional
certifications related to compensation and benefits (e.g., CCP, WorldatWork
certifications) are an advantage.
