We are seeking a Junior Commissioning Supervisor – HVAC Systems to support the commissioning and functional verification of HVAC systems at project sites. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience with air handling units (AHUs), chilled water systems, ductwork, ventilation systems, and BMS integration. The candidate will work under senior supervision to ensure systems are installed and commissioned in line with project requirements and industry standards.
Assist in the planning and execution of HVAC system commissioning activities as per approved procedures and project schedules.
Coordinate with installation teams, subcontractors, and equipment vendors during pre-commissioning and startup activities.
Support testing and verification of HVAC components such as chillers, pumps, AHUs, VAVs, fans, ducts, and controls.
Monitor system pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and air quality to validate system performance.
Ensure safety compliance during commissioning activities and help identify and resolve site-level issues.
Record test results, prepare daily reports, and update commissioning checklists and punch lists.
Attend commissioning meetings, participate in site inspections, and track the progress of HVAC-related systems.
Assist in reviewing technical documentation such as shop drawings, method statements, and O&M manuals.
System Readiness: Support verification of mechanical and electrical readiness before system energization or startup.
Functional Testing: Assist in performance testing and balancing of air and water systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate commissioning logs, punch lists, and status trackers for HVAC systems.
Safety Compliance: Understand and follow safety protocols during equipment startup, pressure testing, and live system checks.
Cross-Team Coordination: Work closely with electrical, BMS, fire protection, and project QA/QC teams to ensure smooth integration and handover.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering.
1–3 years of site or commissioning experience in HVAC or MEP projects.
Basic knowledge of HVAC system components and sequences of operation.
Familiarity with commissioning tools, instruments (anemometers, manometers, etc.), and HVAC standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA).
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in a site-based, fast-paced environment with flexible schedules.
