Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networks, to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Automation of Tasks: Implement automation strategies for system deployments and updates using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and Incident Resolution: Manage cloud incidents effectively, ensuring prompt restoration of systems and leading the troubleshooting process for cloud-related issues.
- System Optimization: Continuously optimize cloud resources for cost, performance, and scalability to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
- Security and Compliance: Enforce cloud security best practices, including managing IAM roles and access controls, to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Ensure that systems are regularly backed up and that disaster recovery procedures are established and followed to minimize downtime.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, network engineers, and other teams to integrate cloud systems seamlessly with application development and deployment processes.
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Cloud Platforms: Proficient with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Automation Tools: Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation for automating infrastructure tasks.
- Networking: Intermediate knowledge of cloud-based networks, including VPNs, subnets, load balancing, and routing in the cloud.
- Security Best Practices: Advanced knowledge of cloud security practices, IAM, encryption, and compliance.
- System Monitoring: Proficient in using monitoring tools to assess system performance and health.
- Troubleshooting: Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving issues in cloud environments.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Certifications (Preferred): AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
