We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Chiller Mechanic to lead our maintenance operations for chiller systems. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on chiller units. You will also mentor junior technicians, manage complex maintenance projects, and implement strategies to optimize system performance and reliability. This position is ideal for a professional with significant hands-on experience in refrigeration or HVAC systems who is ready to take on a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Mentoring:
• Supervise and mentor junior and mid-level technicians, providing guidance on advanced maintenance and repair techniques.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and prioritize tasks to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Lead team meetings, share best practices, and foster a collaborative work environment.
Advanced Chiller Maintenance & Repairs:
• Oversee and execute complex repair and maintenance tasks on chiller systems.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve critical mechanical and electrical issues.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs aimed at optimizing chiller performance and extending equipment lifespan.
Project Management & Continuous Improvement:
• Plan, schedule, and manage large-scale maintenance projects and system upgrades.
• Analyze performance data and conduct root cause analyses to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement innovative solutions to reduce operational costs and improve system reliability.
Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, company policies, and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
• Oversee the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a secure work environment.
Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Prepare detailed reports on chiller system performance and document corrective actions.
• Provide regular updates to management on maintenance progress and system improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Educational Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or coursework in refrigeration, HVAC technology, or a related field are preferred.
• Advanced training or certifications specific to chiller maintenance are an advantage.
Experience:
• A minimum of 7+ years of hands-on experience in chiller maintenance, refrigeration, or HVAC systems.
• Proven expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex chiller system issues.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising maintenance teams and managing large-scale projects.
Skills:
• Extensive technical knowledge of chiller systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.

Certifications (Preferred):
