Job Summary:
The Senior Cell Towers Upgrade and Maintenance Specialist leads large-scale maintenance, upgrade, and network expansion projects for cell tower infrastructure. This role requires expertise in telecommunications engineering, project management, and advanced troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead major cell tower upgrade and maintenance projects, ensuring deadlines and budget are met.
- Manage teams of technicians, providing guidance and troubleshooting assistance.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure tower upgrades meet specifications.
- Ensure that all projects comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Oversee the training and development of junior and mid-level technicians.
- Conduct site assessments and recommend equipment upgrades to improve performance.
- Handle vendor relations for tower equipment procurement.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure.
- In-depth knowledge of wireless technologies (e.g., 4G, 5G) and tower systems.
- Proficient in project management and resource planning.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex electrical and mechanical issues.
- Strong understanding of safety standards, including OSHA regulations and tower safety protocols.

Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Industry certifications for tower climbing and maintenance (e.g., Certified Tower Technician (CTT)).
