The Calibration Supervisor will lead the calibration team, ensuring all instrumentation (temperature, pressure, pH, conductivity) is calibrated and maintained in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, GMP, and 21 CFR Part 11. The role includes workforce planning, compliance oversight, audit preparedness, and continuous improvement of calibration processes across the organization or multiple sites.
Supervise and coordinate all routine and non-routine calibration activities for instruments related to temperature, pressure, pH, and conductivity.
Plan and allocate work to technicians, ensuring adherence to the master calibration schedule and minimal impact on operations.
Review and approve calibration data, reports, and certificates for accuracy, traceability, and compliance.
Manage and maintain reference standards and calibration equipment with valid traceability.
Oversee non-conformance investigations, including OOT events, deviations, and support CAPA generation.
Lead audit preparations (internal/external) and represent calibration functions during regulatory inspections (FDA, NABL, WHO, ISO).
Conduct training and performance reviews of calibration personnel and identify skill gaps.
Implement digital calibration management systems (CMMS) or paperless workflow solutions where applicable.
Collaborate with QA, Engineering, Production, and Validation teams for cross-functional initiatives.
