The Mid-Level Calibration Technician is responsible for independently performing instrument calibration, verification, and troubleshooting for temperature, pressure, pH, and conductivity instruments across manufacturing, laboratory, and utility systems. This role ensures that all critical instruments are compliant with internal SOPs and external standards like GMP, ISO/IEC 17025, and 21 CFR Part 11.
Execute scheduled calibrations and verifications for temperature, pressure, pH, and conductivity sensors and transmitters.
Operate calibration equipment: dry block calibrators, multifunction calibrators, pressure pumps, and standard buffers.
Record calibration results in compliance with GDP and ISO/NABL documentation practices.
Perform basic to intermediate troubleshooting and adjustments of non-conforming or out-of-spec instruments.
Maintain calibration certificates, traceability logs, and service records.
Support internal and external audits with complete and accurate documentation.
Coordinate with departments (production, QC, utilities) for minimal disruption during instrument withdrawal and reinstallation.
Assist in calibration system improvements, including frequency optimization, procedure reviews, and documentation enhancements.
