Job Title: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)


Job Summary:

The Certified Public Accountant is responsible for managing financial reporting, auditing, tax compliance, and advisory functions to ensure the organization’s financial health and compliance with regulatory standards. This mid-level role requires expertise in accounting principles, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to support financial decision-making and business strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Tax Compliance and Planning:

    • Oversee tax preparation and filing for corporate and individual returns.
    • Identify tax-saving opportunities and ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.
  • Auditing and Internal Controls:

    • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
    • Review and enhance internal controls to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Assist in developing and monitoring budgets and forecasts.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.
    • Collaborate with department heads to align financial objectives with organizational goals.
  • Process Improvement:

    • Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems.
    • Leverage technology and tools to enhance efficiency in accounting operations.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Certification:

    • CPA designation is mandatory.
  • Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting, tax, or audit.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Effective communication skills for presenting financial data and collaborating with stakeholders.
