    • Participate in cleaning and maintaining the boiler system and surrounding equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  4. Safety and Compliance:

    • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when handling boiler equipment, rigging materials, and operating lifting machinery.
    • Help ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during installation, maintenance, and repair activities.
    • Wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as helmets, gloves, safety boots, and goggles during all tasks.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Assist in documenting rigging procedures, maintenance work, and inspections for internal records and regulatory compliance.
    • Support in recording equipment performance data, noting any deviations from normal operation and reporting them to senior riggers or engineers.
    • Help prepare and maintain detailed logs of lifting operations, maintenance activities, and repairs conducted on boilers.
  6. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

    • Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and operations teams to ensure that the boiler system is integrated correctly with other components of the plant or facility.
    • Participate in team meetings to discuss boiler installation, maintenance schedules, and safety protocols.
    • Communicate with senior riggers and engineers to receive feedback on work performance and to ensure tasks are completed to specification.
  7. Learning and Development:

    • Continuously learn about the design, installation, and maintenance of boiler systems, gaining practical skills in rigging, alignment, and safe handling techniques.
    • Participate in on-the-job training, workshops, and safety courses to enhance technical knowledge and skillset related to boiler rigging and maintenance.
    • Gain exposure to industry-standard tools, equipment, and best practices for working with boiler systems and related machinery.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems and rigging techniques.
  • Familiarity with boiler systems and components (e.g., pressure vessels, pipes, pumps) is a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols related to rigging, lifting, and heavy equipment handling.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address basic issues related to equipment installation and maintenance.
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with senior riggers, engineers, and other team members.
