The Senior Boiler Insulator will lead the application, maintenance, and repair of insulation materials on boilers, pipes, and other equipment to enhance energy efficiency and safety. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision:
Lead and supervise a team of boiler insulators, providing guidance and support.
Oversee the application of insulation materials to boilers, pipes, and other equipment.
Ensure all work is performed according to technical diagrams, instructions, and manufacturer specifications.
Advanced Troubleshooting and Repairs:
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex insulation issues, such as wear, damage, or improper installation.
Perform advanced repairs and replacements of damaged insulation materials.
Ensure proper installation of vapor barriers and protective coverings to maintain insulation integrity and safety.
System Testing and Calibration:
Test insulation effectiveness after application or repair to ensure it meets required specifications.
Conduct inspections and testing on insulation materials to ensure their integrity and safety.
Use specialized tools and equipment to measure and verify insulation performance.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all safety protocols during the application, maintenance, and repair of insulation materials to prevent accidents and ensure safe working conditions.
