    • Assist in starting up and shutting down boiler systems under the supervision of senior engineers.
    • Help maintain optimal efficiency in the boiler system by supporting fuel and combustion management processes.
    • Learn to monitor boiler performance and assist in identifying areas for operational improvements.
  2. Boiler Maintenance and Inspections:

    • Assist in performing routine maintenance checks and inspections of boiler systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
    • Learn to inspect boiler components such as burners, pumps, valves, and heat exchangers, checking for wear and tear, leaks, and signs of malfunction.
    • Help replace or repair faulty components like seals, gaskets, and safety valves under the guidance of senior engineers.
  3. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:

    • Assist in identifying and troubleshooting boiler system issues, including combustion problems, pressure or temperature fluctuations, and steam distribution issues.
    • Learn how to use diagnostic tools to perform basic troubleshooting tasks and escalate more complex issues to senior engineers.
    • Support in resolving operational and mechanical issues to ensure minimal downtime and safe operation.
  4. System Monitoring and Control:

    • Help monitor system parameters through SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) or other control systems to ensure boilers are functioning within acceptable ranges.
    • Learn how to adjust controls on the boiler system, including fuel and air mixtures, to optimize performance.
    • Assist in implementing changes to the control system under the guidance of senior engineers to maintain efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
  5. Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure that all boiler operations and maintenance tasks are performed in compliance with safety regulations and industry codes (e.g., ASME, OSHA).
    • Assist in maintaining proper documentation for safety checks and operational logs.
    • Support the implementation of safety measures during emergency shutdowns or system failures.
    • Learn the importance of safety devices such as pressure relief valves, water level indicators, and low-water cutoffs.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Assist in maintaining accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs for boilers.
    • Help prepare daily operational reports, documenting boiler performance and any maintenance tasks completed.
    • Learn to report any abnormalities in boiler performance, identifying and documenting issues for further investigation.
  7. Learning and Development:

    • Continuously develop technical knowledge related to boiler systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
    • Participate in on-the-job training, workshops, and technical seminars to expand knowledge of boiler systems and the energy generation process.
    • Shadow senior engineers to gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of boiler systems.
