We are seeking a proactive and technically inclined Junior Boiler Construction Supervisor to assist in the coordination and supervision of boiler construction activities at industrial or power plant sites. This role is ideal for candidates with early-stage experience in mechanical or boiler-related construction who are looking to build expertise in fabrication, erection, and commissioning. Under the guidance of senior supervisors or project engineers, the candidate will support field execution, safety enforcement, and quality assurance during the construction phase.
Assist in supervising day-to-day activities related to boiler assembly, structural fabrication, pressure part erection, and alignment.
Monitor work progress to ensure tasks are completed as per schedule and in compliance with construction drawings and specifications.
Support equipment installation activities such as drums, headers, tubes, ducting, and burner systems.
Work closely with fitters, welders, riggers, and subcontractors during on-site boiler erection.
Verify material availability, track usage, and report shortages or delays to senior supervisors.
Ensure proper storage and handling of boiler components and tools.
Enforce adherence to site safety protocols, including PPE usage, scaffolding standards, and lifting operations.
Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and permit-to-work processes under supervision.
Report unsafe practices or incidents immediately and support follow-up actions.
Assist in maintaining daily progress records, manpower logs, and inspection checklists.
Collect and compile quality documentation such as fit-up records, weld logs, and equipment installation reports.
Support handover documentation for internal QA/QC and client inspection teams.
Actively learn construction standards, boiler codes (e.g., IBR, ASME), and fabrication tolerances.
Participate in training sessions related to welding, NDT, rigging, and boiler commissioning basics.
Develop skills in reading fabrication drawings, isometric sketches, and construction schedules.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication Technology, or a related technical field
Basic safety certifications (confined space, rigging, hot work) preferred

0.5 to 2 years of site experience in mechanical construction or boiler erection (internship/project experience acceptable)
Familiarity with basic boiler components like steam drums, headers, tubes, and supports
Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly and welding procedures
Ability to read simple fabrication drawings and site layouts
Understanding of mechanical tools and lifting equipment
Good communication and team coordination
Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
Discipline in following safety and quality processes
