Job Title: Avionics Control Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Avionics Control Systems Engineer to assist in the design, testing, and integration of avionics systems for aerospace applications. This role focuses on supporting flight control systems, safety-critical systems, and precision instrumentation, with opportunities to grow technical expertise and contribute to innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Avionics and Flight Control Systems:

    • Assist in the development, integration, and testing of avionics and flight control systems under supervision.
    • Conduct basic troubleshooting and provide support for system performance evaluations.
  2. Safety and Emergency Systems:

    • Participate in the testing and validation of safety-critical systems, such as fire suppression and evacuation tools.
    • Support the team in ensuring compliance with safety protocols and system reliability standards.
  3. Precision Instrumentation:

    • Contribute to the calibration and testing of precision instruments for navigation, communication, and control systems.
    • Assist in data collection and analysis to ensure accuracy and performance benchmarks are met.
  4. Compliance and Documentation:

    • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including test reports and system specifications.
    • Ensure all work aligns with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).
  5. Learning and Development:

    • Gain hands-on experience with avionics systems and tools, such as MATLAB, Simulink, and LabVIEW.
    • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop technical skills and industry knowledge.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Avionics and Flight Control Systems:

    Contributing to the design, development, and integration of avionics control systems.
  • Performing basic troubleshooting and assisting in system testing to ensure performance and compliance with standards.
  • Safety and Emergency Systems:

    Assisting in the validation and maintenance of safety-critical systems, such as fire suppression, oxygen delivery, and evacuation mechanisms.
  • Conducting routine diagnostics and supporting functionality tests to ensure reliability.
  • Precision Instrumentation:

    Calibrating and validating precision instruments used in navigation, communication, and control systems.
  • Monitoring system data and addressing minor performance deviations under supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Internship or academic project experience in avionics, flight control, or related areas.
  • Skills:
    • Basic understanding of avionics systems and flight control principles.
    • Familiarity with industry standards such as DO-178C or DO-254 (preferred but not required).
    • Proficiency in engineering tools like MATLAB, Simulink, or similar software.
