Overview of the Role

The Automotive Recruiter at Talent Pool is a pivotal role designed for a seasoned professional with a strong background in recruitment within the automotive industry. This position requires a strategic thinker who can effectively identify, attract, and retain top talent to meet the dynamic needs of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the automotive sector, coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and stakeholders alike. As a General Manager level position, the Automotive Recruiter will lead recruitment initiatives, develop talent acquisition strategies, and ensure alignment with the company's overall objectives. This role is based in AE and offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future workforce of Talent Pool.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies tailored to the automotive industry, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for various positions within the automotive sector, utilizing a variety of recruitment tools and platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and provide guidance on best practices for talent acquisition.
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor hiring practices, adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to offer negotiation, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to track recruitment metrics and improve processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in hiring.
  • Participate in job fairs and networking events to promote Talent Pool and attract potential candidates.
  • Provide training and support to junior recruitment staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Expertise

  • Relevant degrees/certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced courses, certifications, or continued education: Additional qualifications in recruitment, talent management, or related areas.
  • Industry-relevant experience: Significant experience in recruitment within the automotive sector or related industries.
  • Specific technical skills or proficiencies: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Past job roles/responsibilities and duration in similar positions: Demonstrated experience in recruitment roles, ideally at a managerial level.
  • Hands-on technical skills or software tools relevant to the job: Proficiency in using various recruitment platforms and tools to enhance sourcing efforts.
