We are seeking a technically skilled and proactive Automation and SCADA Manager to oversee the design, integration, operation, and maintenance of industrial automation systems and SCADA platforms across our facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring real-time monitoring, control system reliability, cybersecurity compliance, and optimization of plant automation infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PLCs, SCADA systems, communication networks, and process automation within industrial environments.
Manage the day-to-day operations and long-term planning for SCADA and industrial automation systems.
Oversee the configuration, programming, and integration of PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and SCADA systems across facilities.
Ensure availability, redundancy, and security of SCADA infrastructure for continuous plant operations.
Lead troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution of automation-related issues across field devices and control platforms.
Coordinate system upgrades, patching, backups, and version control of automation software and firmware.
Supervise SCADA data historian systems and interface with analytics tools for performance reporting.
Ensure compliance with ISA/IEC 62443, IEC 61511, and other applicable standards.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, IT, and cybersecurity teams on automation project delivery and risk mitigation.
Manage relationships with vendors, system integrators, and automation contractors.
Train and lead a team of automation engineers, SCADA specialists, and control technicians.

Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering
8–12 years of experience in automation and SCADA systems in industrial or utility sectors
Hands-on experience with platforms such as Siemens WinCC, Wonderware, GE iFIX, Schneider EcoStruxure, ABB 800xA, or Ignition
Strong programming experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or GE PLCs
Understanding of industrial networking, cybersecurity, and IT-OT integration
Familiarity with industry standards (ISA, IEC, NIST) and functional safety protocols
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and team management skills
