The Senior Assembly Supervisor – HVAC Equipment is a seasoned leader responsible for overseeing multiple HVAC assembly lines or a complex high-volume production area. This role ensures strategic alignment with production goals, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Supervisor leads team performance, resolves systemic process issues, and drives accountability across shifts while collaborating with engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to deliver high-efficiency HVAC product assembly.
Supervise daily operations across multiple HVAC assembly lines or a critical assembly zone.
Ensure production targets (output, efficiency, takt time) are consistently met or exceeded.
Manage cross-functional coordination to resolve bottlenecks, improve uptime, and balance workloads across shifts.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior/mid-level supervisors, line leads, and technicians.
Drive workforce planning, training, and skill development initiatives to ensure operational flexibility.
Conduct performance reviews, coach underperformance, and reward high-impact contributors.
Partner with quality and engineering to monitor and improve in-line defect rates, rework, and final test yields.
Ensure compliance with HVAC assembly standards, work instructions, and quality protocols (e.g., ISO 9001, UL, AHRI).
Champion mistake-proofing (poka-yoke), first-time-right principles, and visual management systems.
Lead kaizen events, root cause analysis, and standardization projects to enhance safety, quality, and throughput.
Monitor key metrics (OEE, FPY, downtime, productivity) and drive systematic corrective actions.
Implement and sustain lean tools such as 5S, SMED, standardized work, and value stream mapping.
Enforce all safety policies, lead incident investigations, and promote a zero-injury culture.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, company policies, and environmental health & safety requirements.
Support audits and documentation for ISO, regulatory, and customer inspections.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (preferred)
Associate degree with significant supervisory experience will be considered
7–10+ years in HVAC manufacturing or mechanical assembly operations
Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership or supervisory role with multi-line or multi-shift responsibility
Proven experience driving lean/CI initiatives and working with cross-functional teams
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC assembly components (coils, compressors, motors, controls, etc.)
Proficient in interpreting blueprints, SOPs, BOMs, and using ERP/MES systems
Excellent leadership, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
Working knowledge of lean tools and experience with CI project execution
Strong analytical and reporting abilities using KPI dashboards
