The Junior Analyzer Systems Supervisor supports the operation, calibration, and maintenance of online water quality analyzers and monitoring equipment across treatment facilities and water distribution networks. This role assists in ensuring regulatory compliance, real-time data accuracy, and continuous performance of analytical instruments used for water quality control.
Assist in the installation, inspection, and calibration of online analyzers (e.g., pH, turbidity, chlorine, TOC, conductivity)
Perform routine checks, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on analytical instruments
Support data collection and ensure analyzer readings are within acceptable ranges
Maintain documentation related to analyzer performance, calibration logs, and maintenance activities
Ensure equipment is operating in compliance with environmental and public health regulations
Coordinate with laboratory staff and operations teams for cross-verification of water quality data
Participate in emergency response during analyzer system failures or critical deviations
Work under guidance from senior engineers and supervisors to gain technical proficiency
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Environmental Science, or a related technical field
1–3 years of experience in water quality monitoring or instrumentation support
Familiarity with online analyzers, sensors, and field calibration techniques
Basic understanding of SCADA interfaces and data logging systems is a plus
Attention to detail and strong technical troubleshooting ability
Basic knowledge of water quality parameters and public health standards
Good documentation and reporting skills
Ability to work in field environments and follow safety protocols
Eagerness to learn and grow into supervisory responsibilities
