We are seeking a dedicated and organized Accounts Clerk to join our finance team. This entry-level position is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals beginning their career in accounting. The Accounts Clerk will support daily financial operations, assist in maintaining accurate financial records, and perform a variety of basic accounting and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the finance department.
Assist in recording financial transactions such as invoices, receipts, and payments
Maintain and update financial records and ledgers accurately
Support the processing of accounts payable and receivable
Prepare simple reports and assist in data entry for monthly financial closings
Organize and file accounting documents, records, and reports
Reconcile petty cash and assist with bank statement reconciliations
Respond to vendor and internal queries regarding payments or accounts
Support senior accountants with general administrative and clerical tasks
Accurate data entry and record-keeping
Basic transaction processing and documentation
Support to finance and accounting operations
Compliance with internal procedures and financial policies
High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing)
Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting software is a plus
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
Strong communication and time management abilities
Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional finance environment
