As a Junior 3D Modeler, you will support the art team in creating optimized, game-ready 3D assets for characters, props, vehicles, or environments. This entry-level role is designed for individuals with strong foundational skills in modeling and a passion for real-time game art.
Create low- to mid-poly 3D models based on concept art and technical specifications.
Perform UV unwrapping and texture assignment using pre-defined guidelines.
Optimize geometry for performance in real-time game engines.
Import assets into Unity or Unreal Engine and set up basic materials.
Iterate on assets based on feedback from leads or senior artists.
0–2 years of experience in 3D modeling or a strong portfolio showcasing relevant academic/personal work.
Proficient with at least one 3D modeling tool: Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max.
Basic understanding of UV mapping, texturing, and PBR workflows.
Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine (importing assets, material setup).
Ability to take feedback constructively and apply it to improve asset quality.
