Job Title: Business Development Executive - Valve and Related Services
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development & Sales Executive to expand our presence in the power generation, petrochemical, oil & gas, and other industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for registering our company and services in the market, identifying upcoming projects, and tracking sales opportunities before they are published as RFQs.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Entry & Company Registration:
- Identify and register the company with key clients, including power plants, petrochemical plants, and oil & gas companies.
- Build relationships with procurement departments, vendor registration teams, and key decision-makers.
- Ensure compliance with client registration requirements and pre-qualification processes.
Sales Opportunity Identification & Business Development:
- Monitor industry trends, planned shutdowns, and maintenance schedules to identify potential service requirements.
- Proactively track projects before RFQs are issued by engaging with key stakeholders.
- Maintain a database of upcoming tenders, projects, and maintenance schedules for targeted industries.
- Develop strategic relationships with EPC contractors, maintenance managers, and procurement professionals.
Lead Generation & Client Engagement:
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities.
- Initiate contact with potential clients through calls, emails, and meetings to introduce our services.
- Arrange and participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
Sales & Proposal Management:
- Work closely with the technical and operations team to prepare proposals and pre-qualification documents.
- Track and follow up on bid opportunities to ensure timely submission and competitive positioning.
- Negotiate terms and close deals while ensuring alignment with company pricing strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in valve services, mechanical maintenance, or industrial services.
- Strong understanding of power generation, petrochemical, oil & gas, and industrial sectors.
- Proven ability to generate leads, track projects, and convert opportunities into sales.
- Excellent networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of vendor registration and pre-qualification processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and market research tools.
